Candidate Qualifications:

Master’s or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
3 years of experience in solving technical problems, innovating and collaborating with external / internal partners for failure analysis in optoelectronic devices and packages. Experience in external or cultural identification and disability tools, and implementation plans in collaboration with external and internal partners.
Experience in equipment identification tools/systems and related trades. Experience with data analysis tools/methods and statistical analysis.
Knowledge of semiconductor device design and optoelectronic device process development.

Develop an object path map and defect identification tool for detection and defect quantification and uniformity in microLED arrays.
Analysis of failure and sensitivity of tissue roots for yield and unity limiting defects in microLEDs.
Work with internal and external failure analysis equipment to investigate and identify the origin of line faults using various material identification methods (SIMS, XPS, AES, EDX, APT or other methods). Develop new tools and techniques for defect identification.
Collaboration across processes, devices, and engineering research to improve the yield and stability of microLED designs. Conduct initial performance analysis and data on performance improvement experiences, in collaboration with process team members.
