Senior Software Engineer – Starbucks Technology provides APIs to the Starbucks Digital Platform that supports mobile apps and websites, as well as various customer services. Our services run in the cloud in your data center and integrate with many other company and vendor systems. This role will have the opportunity to work on a private client and gain access to API management and digital API rewards, which presents exciting opportunities to run APIs at scale. We are looking for experienced software engineers with a background in microservices design, REST principles, traditional cloud architecture, and experience working with the public. This role will give you the opportunity to create an important part of the team and lead it to success.

Summary Of Key Roles:

  • Design and build microservices using REST standards. Troubleshoot and resolve API issues in service areas.
  • Be the API leader and expert in our country. Effectively delegate tasks within the team.
  • Work with Product Managers to manage products. Organize sprint planning and maintenance meetings.
  • We work with a group of partners across the business. Write clear and concise test code.
  • Create unit, integration, and load tests for new code. Automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and manage existing reports and dashboards. Work in a devops team environment with on call.

Qualification:

  • Ability to master the implementation and delivery of large projects with minimal supervision.
  • More than 10 years of experience in C#, ASP.NET and Web API.
  • 3+ years of experience in .NET Core. 3+ years of Azure experience with Cosmos DB, App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus and Event Hub.
  • 5+ years of experience with relational databases and NoSQL.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, other field or equivalent.
