WORK
● Conducts infrastructure data analysis and analysis, identifying data integrity issues and anomalies. Data sets vary from single systems to large-scale deployments that require benchmarking. ● Provides resolution of differences between inventory data generated and CARTS data. This may include detailed analysis on Flexera, CARTS and other data sources (BigFix, SCCM). ● Supports efforts to extend software visibility of the total footprint and resource management applications. Focus on how to access other information in the application and ensure that all information included is correct and complete. ● Learn, understand and provide subject matter expertise in appropriate asset management policies and procedures across procurement, contracts, vendor management and business owner groups; ensures that software installations reflect hardware retirement and that new hardware is properly configured as per Software Asset Management (SAM) requirements.
● Creates, maintains procedures and references. This may include policy details, reference lists, benchmarks, or historical records of resolved issues.
● Initiates collaboration with internal teams and vendors and supports team members in problem solving efforts. ● Supports the development of ITAM management documentation and related policies. This may include maintaining existing content, creating new content, or contributing to the ideation process for updates as needed. ● Supports the integration of the new SAM editor.
● Identifies opportunities for innovation, increasing efficiency through continuous process design and implementing solutions based on best practices. Wanted
● 2+ years of asset management experience and knowledge of industry best practices; or equivalent experience in inventory/property management.
● Strong understanding of green infrastructure hardware and software and supply chain processes; by purchase and disposal. ● Experience using Excel to analyze datasets is preferred; including experience with pivot tables and formulas, and ability to compare different types of data.
● Analytical, detail-oriented and the ability to effectively investigate and resolve issues. Can compare and analyze data to identify inconsistencies, can communicate and understand the reasons and prioritize for decisions; can hire other members if necessary.
● Must have a positive attitude, ability to work independently and be motivated to take initiative in a fast-paced environment with the owner. ● Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with suppliers, team members and all organizational levels within Costco.
● Previous experience successfully managing multiple roles and responsibilities; good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize between competing interests and deadlines. ● Willingness to accept guidance and direction from supervisors and peers; good and good team relations.
