We are looking for a Senior Account Manager who demonstrates the spirit of innovation, creativity, creative excellence, collaborative spirit and passion for great cinema that defines ILM.
The Senior Accounts Manager will assist the Manager in managing all of ILM’s accounting functions, including some of its subsidiaries. These duties include the monthly closing of the general ledger, accounts payable,
Payroll/salary, fixed assets, revenue recognition, summaries and all related activities. This role will also be important in helping to review and improve processes in the integration and transition from ILM to the Oracle cloud. ILM has studios around the world and the role will include coordinating with the regional finance team of our company overseas and assisting in the installation/configuration of new offices (currently in India),

Closing report/Month end control/Quarterly report
Assists in managing and closing the month-end and quarter-ends ensuring all necessary accounting procedures, recording book entries and accounting. The person will not only be expected to manage, but also perform monthly tasks alongside the manager and other team members. Help harmonize and ensure compatibility between Oracle ILM and SAP systems.
Assists in the preparation and submission of monthly management reports to the Financial Controller. Assist with quarterly/year-end reporting at Disney.
Promotion/Procedure Documentation:
Helped to identify and implement system integration and integration from ILM to Oracle Fusion, which should lead to many opportunities to fix the old ILM system, including migration from paperless records. Prepare and identify ways to effectively use accounting and finance tools to manage monthly, quarterly and annual accounting transactions.
Directly manage 2.5 Accounts Payable team responsible for performance related to Accounts Payable including reviewing invoices, expense reports, obtaining approvals, ordering purchase orders, credit card management and payment processing.
Shared responsibility with other Finance/Accounting team members for signing weekly checks and uploading/depositing and/or preparing wire transfers to the online banking portal for various accounts. Administer/update processes related to 1099 and especially 1042 reports. Disney actually manages to release forms. fixed equipment
Directly manage the FA GL Accounts Payable Accountant’s capital-related operations for the US/UK office in Vancouver, including preparing monthly supplements and discharges; execute depreciation, reconcile FA and GL ledgers, edit historical cash balances in USD and work with local IT to ensure assets are properly named.
Develop as a backup to perform some capital projects. Use IT to schedule inventory each time based on Disney’s studio turnover plan.
Calculate and record monthly ILM US financial contract receipts and over/under postings (additional work in management). Check out the admissions notices provided by the Australia, UK and Vancouver teams.
Accounts Payable / Billing Interface:
Training as a basis for weekly SAP payment slots; reorientation of H2G employees towards heavy workloads and processes. Students will need to perform the procedure temporarily and continue to perform only during the period or shift as needed.
Organize, prepare and/or provide support documents related to transfer pricing services and external transfer pricing providers, as required. Periodically update the license fee to provide pricing to partners for proprietary software.
Worked with the Legal Department to obtain a pricing agreement for a new transfer service.
