The HR coordinator provides effective organizational and operational support that improves the performance of the HR department, working closely with the HR team to provide support and studio guidance.

The HR coordinator is the supervisor of the HR planning process, procedures, processes and procedures and is responsible for the main training and related tasks including: New Hires\Contract; Entry and exit; Monthly payroll processing and related personnel changes in Global HR Operations (GHRO); Exit exit. The candidate will be market-focused, efficient, collaborative and will emphasize communication and teamwork to perform this detail-oriented role. They also support the company’s people and business activities by performing HR functions as required.

What To Do:

Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, responding to and/or referring to the appropriate HRBP as required.

Manage and track the award process for all new hires from start to finish ensuring all documents are signed prior to signing and following company policies and procedures. All standard HR correspondence, including contract extension letters, coaching letters, job references (except pre-employment reference requests), terms and conditions change letters. Escalate any non-standard correspondence to HRBP/Manager. Assists in the planning of HR lifestyle activities such as outside work requests, benefit planning, performance, annual leave and benefits.

Entering an HRIS involves updating employee information in accordance with entry, job changes and exit procedures

Update Payroll Tracker with all relevant employee changes for the month, double check the data, ensure the relevant HRBP has reviewed the data.

Keep all HR systems up-to-date with employee details and interaction changes with GHRO as necessary e.g. SAP, Visa and Immigration, entry and exit reports, etc. Manage digital HR filing systems, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and compliant with immigration and labor laws.

Provide general administrative support to the HR team, e.g. entering and updating HR policies; take notes; create forms / HR documents; Stays abreast of work order changes, introducing related process updates as appropriate

Continually raise the profile of HR positively within the business and externally by contributing ideas to the HR team for continuous improvement and demonstrating ways to improve and develop practices the best in the department and across the studio. Conduct research for HR functions as required.

Ad hoc HR services as required; participation in the organization of events and activities of the studio, as required.

Education/Skills/Experience:

CIPD qualification or interest in working towards a CIPD qualification

Demonstrated experience in human resource management or related field

Experience or working in a complex matrix organization, preferably creative or media, is highly desirable.

Strong management skills are essential

Basic knowledge of employment law will help
