Full Job Description:

A security guard is employed in some areas to help store casts maintain a safe and secure environment for cast members and guests. This is done through consistency, identification and decision-making related to suspicious activity and potentially dangerous behavior. This role reports to the Inventory Manager under day-to-day store supervision.

Basic Functions:

It acts as a visible barrier against potential hazards at the store entrance/exit and throughout the site by supporting high visibility, monitoring, responding and escalation of actions suspicion, unsafe behavior and other factors that can affect safety in the workplace.

Utilizes specialized training related to TWDC’s counterterrorism and workplace safety programs to identify, prevent, and report related incidents such as, but not limited to, acts of violence/incitement, demonstrations of civil unrest, imminent threats, threats society, etc. Conduct security / safety inspections on site in person (and via CCTV, as appropriate), respond to and escalate identified risks to maintain control and protect company assets (loss prevention) / security (refer and safety / security research type)

Supports emergency support and crisis response programs to help mitigate potential impacts, meet the needs of cast and crew, and promote a safe culture.

Conducts and responds to electronic surveillance (EAS) programs as required conducting 24/7 camera and alarm monitoring (if applicable), incident reporting, inspections, process inspections and case/package/garment management documentation .

Acts as a law enforcement and security liaison/point of contact for local offices and TWDC partners under the direction of the Office of Security/Exhibit Security and acts in accordance with Disney policies, practices and directives.
