Full Job Description:
As an electrical engineer, you will manage the creation, development, implementation and maintenance of AC and DC low voltage (600 V and below) and electric power systems (5 kV and 12 kV) supporting multiple Disneyland Resort assets . You will help to create flat graphics packages and support direct response efforts and reactive projects. Support strategic planning and writing and develop work load plans and strategic planning dates to support our project management team.
You will report to the Manager, MEP Engineering and DLR Architecture & Facilities Engineering.
Job / You Will:
Organize and execute the planning and building process for small projects within the building as directed by the team leader. Collect construction documents and specifications. Assists and provides guidance to Project Managers and Design Managers to manage the Design Scope Matrix for each project, representing the stages of each component from concept inspiration to final product receipt.
Process all content and packaging submitted for inspection and approval. Assist in developing and maintaining organizational standards for the Project. Product and equipment research. Develop brochures and construction documents.
Assist in directing and organizing all necessary photo documentation to document existing conditions, models and completed work. Manage administrative records including the receipt, processing and distribution of all materials received from internal and external vendors and service providers.
Manage resource library and coordination of all primary supplier contacts. Provide immediate construction support for all ongoing projects.
Conduct site visits to retrieve field samples to confirm specifications (ie: specifications, measurements, condition and product data). Catalog and maintain all project specification manuals provided by external design experts for current projects and historical studies.
Accelerate receipt of required sample input for final design approval (Ex: custom fixture prototypes). Participate in weekly design planning meetings and prioritize items to minimize schedule impact.
Assist project and design managers in resolving design compliance issues related to requirements. Check that all specifications match the product installed before ordering the manual.
Look for the availability of artwork in the Disneyland archives. Assist in all executive design review initiatives related to the development of plans that include participant planning and physical planning. distributed to all internal partners and extended service members. Provide advice and brief decision matrices to support executive decisions.
Certificate of Eligibility/You must have:
2-4 years of work experience in related engineering training and related field experience. Experience in design, procurement and construction support.
Ability to collaborate and work hard in a team environment to ensure product success. Minimum of one year experience in AutoCAD and Revit.
Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam Revu experience. You must be a self-starter to provide experience to bring ideas to physical reality.
