Full Job Description:
This position performs branch office and sales duties including customer leasing, new accounts, front desk and biller services. He is responsible for the day-to-day transaction processing, monitoring of fund collections and other financial functions related to membership requests. He/she will work hard to promote and cross-sell. Affiliate products and services. The group’s advisor must always demonstrate a welcoming and fair attitude between members and colleagues and maintain professional work standards and ethical standards established by the partners.

He is responsible for identifying and building a network of team contacts through qualified leads, referrals, cold calls, and face-to-face relationships with the goal of generating financial opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to achieve and maintain individual sales goals
Ensures that all member needs are met and promises are met; to provide “5-Star Service, every member at any time. Originate and process consumer loans, from start to finish, following all quality control standards as outlined in the policy.
Ensures that all accounts payable duties are completed properly and follow established policies and procedures. Make sure all safety measures are followed.
Paying the client and receiving services as required. Receive deposits and loan repayments. Supports proper receipt. Daily cash drawer maintenance (when used)
Supports the mission and promotion of the credit union by encouraging the use of a wide range of products and services to meet the financial needs of the member.
Has in-depth knowledge of the consumer lending process and uses lending authority to approve or deny loans within assigned jurisdiction. Level of Product Expertise subject matter to communicate the features and benefits of all Credit Union products and services. Teach members how to be financially responsible. Assumes authority and responsibility in all aspects of your work, including assigned duties and responsibilities.
Processes new registrations by opening accounts and requests for new services such as alternative product accounts, savings services, checks, money markets, certificates, IRAs, referrals, etc., respecting all quality control standards as defined in policy (CIP, OFAC, Chexsystems). Ensure compliance with the 2/2/2 program.
Ensures that all member needs are met and promises are met; anyone at any time. Assists the department by completing tasks and reports related to the department; offers suggestions for organizing departments and credit union projects.
Familiarize yourself with the branch and UCPF procedures to anticipate potential issues and communicate clearly with your manager any issues that may arise. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Education Level: High School or GED (required)
Certification
NMLS Certificate (mandatory)
CA notary (preferred)
Technical training
Ability to use a personal computer and related software, including Microsoft Outlook (required). Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Experience using Episys (an asset)
Experience with Springboard (an asset)
