Reservation Services – IT Customer Support is looking for a leader to help, drive and help shape IT strategy and delivery using the Delta AWS environment and other modern technologies. This leader will focus on providing the best technology solutions to the business reservation department, which has more than 8,000 front-line professionals interacting with millions of Delta customers. These technology solutions are a key factor in ensuring Delta achieves its revenue, customer service and future growth goals. This leader will be responsible for delivering appropriate technology solutions to meet business needs on time, within allocated budget, while ensuring technology solutions meet technical and performance standards set by Delta Information Technology. This leader will drive new technology initiatives of critical business strategy, improve existing technology solutions, and support and manage technology projects.

Lead an agile technical team that delivers secure, reliable and scalable solutions to meet business needs and priorities
Leads team thinking, strategy, planning, analysis and execution within and across technical teams in a critical manner.
Provide technical guidance to ensure technical solutions comply with Delta Air Lines approved standards, security requirements and data privacy requirements.
Ensure optimal performance through operational flow sheets, incident management playbooks, dashboards, time management, and effective response to production disruptions.
Invite members to work privately in the cloud; continuous monitoring of organizational structure and skills
Support continuous learning and building team skills, ensuring the team is focused on the right skills
Leads the hiring and management of contractors within the organization to retain and promote top talent, building a team that can meet business needs.
Collaborates and builds relationships with managers in all areas to ensure continuous improvement and best practices
An important partner and buyers who focus on meeting business needs to support the project, focus on strengths based on changing business needs.
Promotes collaboration with team members to ensure consistency across skill groups
Facilitates professional development without providing specific project direction – oversees and promotes team performance
