As a Car Agent, you will work with a new team whose mission is to ensure that our customers’ shipments arrive safely and on time to deliver a great customer experience. Freight customer service agents will have to work between 20 and 40 hours per week. Tasks include stooping, stooping, twisting, standing and walking. Work tasks are repetitive, such as loading and unloading and transporting cargo and mail to aircraft. Summary of Services (not all services complete):
Use ground support equipment such as stakes, forks and tractors safely. Subject to flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Subject to work in bad weather. Exercise caution in all operational processes and procedures while adhering to time constraints.
Pick up, load, unload and transfer information and cargo to aircraft, plus ensure timely delivery. Protect freight and mail from damage, loss and weather.
Safely drive and operate ground equipment such as tugs, forklifts and tow tractors in congested areas. Pick up and load cargo frequently in the truck and ensure that each shipment reaches its destination.
Performs computer checks to ensure mail and cargo are properly delivered to destination. Demonstrates safety-conscious behavior in all work processes and procedures.
