The role of Analysis & Performance (OAP) is to support this project by providing strategic insight by understanding first-line business processes, then applying data and analysis to drive continuous improvement efforts. The manager will lead his team to solve operational business problems to meet customer needs. This role supports the Onboard Services (OBS) recovery staff within the Inflight Services Department (IFS). This role requires the ability to build and maintain relationships with business leaders, frontline staff, IT partners and other Ops Analytics team members to develop and implement system-based solutions.

Functions:
Lead a team of 4-5 analysts responsible for managing the data environment for IFS, developing robust data systems, data analysis, supporting business and automated reporting, ad hoc data requests and research projects aimed at improving performance in progress.
· Collaborate with information technology, business intelligence and internal Delta teams to optimize and improve data availability, availability and efficiency. Review current trends in the OBS footprint to identify bottlenecks.
· Create insightful dashboards at executive and executive levels using data visualization tools. · Develop team members and create a positive, dynamic and collaborative work environment.
· Interact with business leaders and internal and external partners to develop and implement process-focused strategies. · Set expectations and priorities based on value, including impact on processes and customers.

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, engineering, computer science, information technology, mathematics, or related research area required. Knowledge of SQL, Python, R or other mathematical programming languages
Must have strong business, statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to manage complex processes and cross-functional teams.
Ability to proactively engage and develop team members required. Must have excellent written, presentation and verbal skills, with the ability to produce concise, appropriate documents and strategic plans and presentations for senior management.
Must be a good team player, committed to working well under pressure. A professional image with the ability to lead, manage and communicate should be conveyed at all levels of the organization including senior executives
Ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment required.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines required. Must be able to develop vision, strategy and goals for the team and motivate and lead the team to achieve goals.
MS Office experience required. Where required by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive a COVID-19 vaccine by the date of employment to be considered for US-based employment, if Delta Air Lines, Inc. . not working now.
