The General Manager, Operations – Reservations and Guest Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of the division’s operations, including real-time operational management to maximize efficiency and achieve guest-focused performance metrics. This role is responsible for operational processes and strategies that support the achievement of customer service goals. Overview and responsibilities:
Manages day-to-day, hour-by-hour operations by leading a dedicated 24/7 team at the center and in the Contract Office, in collaboration with project management.
Use operational levers to balance contact demand and resource capacity and meet target thresholds through close planning and time management of our staff in a complex channel environment.
Identifies opportunities and works to improve efficiency, customer service, employee satisfaction and financial performance
Supports and improves joint office operations by monitoring system performance, managing systems and processes and quality assurance programs.
Create a positive and stimulating work environment. Leads by demonstrating Delta values as defined in the Rules of the Road
Demonstrates safety practices and ensures that all policies and procedures support the safety of employees, customers and facilities
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Candidates for this role should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 3-5 years of experience in a contact role.
Strong analytical, data analysis, reporting and leadership skills; ability to develop effective relationships at all levels
Demonstrated management and development skills, ability to manage large projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
A systems thinker, experienced in strategic planning and execution
Experienced partner, able to work in a division and operation. Good knowledge of problem management. Must be a natural business leader and possess strong organizational skills with strong business acumen
