The Freight Finance Manager reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for revenue and business development (with a focus on positive revenue). This is done by creating new sales programs and reviewing existing sales using referrals and other types of sales backgrounds. Account managers manage their sales territory by making sales calls, usually working in the sales office.
- The account manager should plan sales activities, including current sales strategies and proper analysis of account and company information.
- The Account Manager must submit sales plans and performance reports to managers in a timely manner to support the project, region, activity, division, and all corporate objectives.
