The AWS Data Center Global Services team is looking for talented individuals to join the Development Management Team (CDE) and contribute to the management and technology organization. CDE’s core mission is to track, document, communicate and advance global data center design standards with a focus on control, automation and energy monitoring. Controlled Design Engineering (CDE)

The CDE team provides a globally developed building management system (BMS) and energy performance monitoring system (EPMS).

The team’s goal is to provide uniform standards for data center management systems and all mechanical and electrical design. Due to the importance and complexity of BMS/EPMS design, installation and maintenance, the CDE Group is the primary owner of the specifications, reference lists, designs and information available in the large engineering group

As part of the ongoing management improvement effort, the CDE team collaborates by reviewing design, piloting consistent models, and gathering feedback to arrive at insights and solutions. Responsibilities and Obligations

Create, maintain and distribute working specification (SOW) documents, including international design standards. Personally coordinate with each Regional Manager to review and execute all SOW projects.

Selection of suppliers, competitive analysis, RFI assistance and coordination. He is the main point of contact for the various internal and external teams linked to the BMS/EPMS management system. Manage and monitor key documents for new buildings, existing site support and existing site improvement projects. Qualification

  • Five years to implement or develop mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings and create engineering documents focused on data centers or critical environmental projects. 3 years of contribution to the design or development of management and monitoring solutions.
  • 5 years of experience operating a large enterprise data center or similar project environment. One year of project management focused on data center or critical environment projects. Demonstrated collaboration at scale with multiple project stakeholders. love creation
