Full Job Description:
Paint-Color Mixer is for mixing, tinting and creating colors using pigments and/or pigments as required. The job is to mix enamels, lacquers and water colors to match the color of the paint or the custom paint following the standard pattern and color type as instructed. Functions:
Restore and maintain onstage and backstage signage and graphics using photographs, sketches, blueprints and other materials – according to Disney standards.
Design and create new logos using creative ideas with the right interest, size, theme, material, and style – led by Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI).
Create new project parts from sketches, plans and specifications provided by WDI
Read work orders, help coordinate needs with other businesses, and track work until it’s picked up, delivered or installed. If necessary, contact the applicant for a description of the requested service, the work process and requirements
Use hand tools and/or hand tools (use appropriate personal protective equipment) to perform the work
Completes work in a professional and timely manner with minimal supervision, keeping budget and deadlines in mind. Key features:
Schedule – Schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday and Sunday shifts; However, be ready to work every day and shift (1st, 2nd and 3rd shift), including holidays and overtime.
Technical ability
Experience, skills and ability to perform the duties listed under “Essential Duties” above
Skill and ability to mix and tint main coats using industry standards and various color and coating techniques.
Candidate Qualifications:
Computer experience including Microsoft programs, Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with computerized management systems
