 Data Engineer – Data aggregator is responsible for end-to-end data pipeline work to enable analytics and data services. This role is data engineering focused on creating and deploying automated data pipelines from a plethora of internal and external data sources. The Data Engineer will work with product owners, engineers and data platform teams to design, build, test and operate a data pipeline used across the enterprise as a single source of truth.

● Created and implemented data pipelines to make data available for consumption (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services).

● Work with data designers and data engineers / BI to design data pipelines and recommend improvements to ongoing data storage, data integration, data quality and organization.

● Designed, developed and implemented ETL / ELT processes using IICS (informatica cloud).

● Uses Azure services such as Azure SQL DW (Synapse), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Factory to improve and accelerate the delivery of our data products and services.

● Implement Big Data and NoSQL solutions by creating scalable data processing systems to create valuable information for the organization.

● Identified, designed and implemented internal processes: automation of manual processes, optimization of data transmission.

● Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality of data management.

● Communicates technical concepts to non-audiences both in writing and orally.

● Conduct peer reviews for other data engineer jobs.

Wanted

● 5+ years of experience engineering and implementing data pipelines with large and complex datasets. ● 5+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter.

● 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS.

● 3 + years of experience working in cloud technologies; such as ADLS, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB and other big data technologies.

● More than 5 years of experience in data processing, ETL and database.

● 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing data integration systems such as event/information based input (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL.

● 3+ years of experience in Git / Azure DevOps

● Extensive experience working with various data sources; SQL, Oracle database, flat file (csv, delimited), Web API, XML.

● Advanced knowledge in SQL; Understanding of relational databases, business data and ability to write robust SQL queries against various data sources.

● Good understanding of data security concepts; Data lakes, relational databases, NoSQL, graphs, data warehousing.

● Able to work in a fast paced development environment.

Recommended

● Microsoft Azure/similar certifications.

● Experience delivering data solutions through an agile software development process.

● Exposure to the business sector.

● Proficiency in speaking and writing.

● Experience working with SAP integration tools including BODS.

● UC4 Project Manager experience.
