A digital delivery manager (DDM) is a highly organized agile professional who can manage the agile activities of one or more agile product engineering teams. This role is a modern hybrid of Project Manager, Scrum Master and Delivery/Release Person. The DDM works closely with the product owner to plan the backlog of the engineering team and works with engineers to get questions answered and requirements updated. WORK
● Allocates resources and provides team members with the necessary support to overcome obstacles. ● Work with product owners to coordinate the release process through technology (i.e. aligning teams for delivery versus release time).
● Collaborate with stakeholders to develop high-level view and service delivery plans for product features.
● Manage release team metrics to measure progress against release milestones (ie releases).
● Aggregates product level into portfolio level risk, perspective, and consistency.
● Reports on overall delivery status and program management with different people.
● Facilitates effective communication, collaboration and participation in one of the initiatives that reduce total and product.
● Adhering to technical standards when designing processes.
● Develops and coordinates application development plans that align with goals and objectives.
● Adapts values in response to change.
● Understand resource management and the benefits of resource management; and may be engaged in one or more arts-related activities.
● Applies standard procedures and tools to perform inspection and monitoring operations for specific products.
● Supports problem solving; problem solving; and conducts research on the use of life products.
● Provides information about the process requirements.
● Monitors, manages and implements authorization requests for changes to basic requirements, according to the change management process.
● Implements Agile, Scrum, SAFE, Kanban processes; provides advice and best practices in the group.
● Ensures that the Program Improvement (PI) program in all delivery modules is aligned with the product or value stream, and the associated planning time (pre and post PI scheduling).
● Assists in allocating resources and providing team support necessary to resolve roadblocks and reported issues, as well as understanding engineering-level technical language to resolve issues and/or work-time estimates for reports such as engineers themselves.
● Work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DDMs, UX and Lead Engineers to coordinate product release processes.
● Understands and implements automated testing procedures and the importance of rapid deployment.
● Support product teams in the delivery of new features and capabilities while empowering them and enabling them to self-organize, as well as learn and adapt to the team(s) to improve the delivery process.
● Support the Product Manager by supporting the presentation process to demonstrate product integration to program stakeholders.
● Create feedback improvement plans to identify improvement opportunities that can be implemented to improve productivity.
● Produces weekly reports that reflect the health of the overall delivery situation and program management with different people.
● Promotes collaboration between delivery modules and stakeholders at the product level. ● Facilitate regular “Scrum-of-Scrum” meetings with Scrum Masters across the company to facilitate coordination between development projects; and check for barriers or obstacles affecting group production (ART Sync).
● Coordinates the resolution of internal and external dependencies across value streams and shared functions.
● Directs the day-to-day delivery process, including removing roadblocks that negatively affect productivity or block team processes.
● Confirms that the team meets security and governance requirements, and understands engineering delivery processes and change management.
● Facilitates effective communication, collaboration, coordination and engagement with one of the initiatives that cross the portfolio and products.
● Manage budgets, specifications; and works through the approval process for management and financial analysis.
