The Business Intelligence (BI) – Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for the successful delivery, design and support of desktop reports, mobile reports and high visibility dashboards. The BI Engineer will work closely with end users and product owners to analyze business needs and develop insightful views and dashboards to help Costco better manage its business. Duties will also include incident management and providing appropriate feedback to end users regarding system status and/or errors.   • Designs and develops reporting solutions in Microsoft Power BI based on business needs.
  • Design and develop semantic models in Azure Analysis Services for BI and private user consumption.
  • Provides skills in data visualization and graphical reporting.
  • Follow the improvement of the heritage that results in inherent inheritance.

  • Maintains and supports existing business intelligence solutions.

  • 2+ years of experience with other BI tools including Cognos, BOBJ or Tableau.
  • ExStrong problem solving and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to follow procedures and deliver projects on time.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of data structure concepts.
  •  Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests.
