Main Functions:

Air Maintenance Program Managers are the on-site sales and technical managers at each MRO facility. Their work requires a highly collaborative leader, with a focus on collaboration and cooperation. Program managers are responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and adherence to quality, cost and performance standards of basic maintenance packages for aircraft undergoing inspection and/or modification. They are the primary support and interface services for air carriers until the end of scheduled visits according to United Airlines’ Continuing Airworthiness Program (CAMP). This job includes adhering to the terms and conditions outlined in supplier contracts, budget approvals, and correcting all costs related to the foundation program. The airworthiness of the aircraft after release is the responsibility of the quality control department. The program manager is expected to be self-directed, act with high integrity and strive for process improvement, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and leadership.

Act as UAL’s focal point in regional supplier management, overseeing all aspects of quality, production and financial performance. Perform wing safety and performance reviews of aircraft, listed as part of the 360Audit program.
Act as primary liaison with all UAL support departments such as planning, supply chain, quality control, engineering, etc. Review and adjust financial invoices and look for savings opportunities for material and operational performance.
