Full Job Description:

Responsibility:

  • Stores are opened and closed in the absence of store management, including initiating all necessary procedures, handling cash as needed, and preparing the store and office for business days.
  • Responsible for opening the back door of the store for delivery.
  • Complete returns, cancel orders, refund customers, deposit funds in a safe, and make cash register changes on demand.
  • Model and deliver unique and exciting products to customers

Client Experience:

  • Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering support for their products and services.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and answer questions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Personal characteristics (eg, greeting, eye contact, demeanor, etc.) and characteristics of Walgreens services (eg, assistance, identification of needs, service to satisfaction, etc.).

To Work:

  • Responsibilities hold stores so they can be opened and closed unchecked as needed. Support and train other team members to work with warehouse and shipping processes as orders are created, reviewed and received, including opening returns for shipments.
  • Responsible for recording all cash register sales including scanning errors, checks, missing items, price corrections and incorrect information.
  • Assist the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in reviewing exceptions for release dates and reverse logistics (eg, 1506, returns, empty packages).
  • Assist the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in merchandise analysis and creation, including advertising, seasonality, construction and sales. Complete the reset and repair.
  • Install the right products. Maintain the accuracy of product available, including but not limited to originating service, warehouse, and distribution center. Help members follow the Outdate program.
  • Responsible for the initial cost of the department and daily changes. Make sure the store displays appropriate signs to promote the price of the product.
  • Ensure value-added work associated with local regulations and/or compliance is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with accounting duties including cash reporting, cash counting, inventory and invoicing as needed or requested.
  • Support external and internal maintenance by maintaining cleanliness, order and keeping the store clean and tidy, including store requests or physical repairs when the manager is absent or as requested by the supervisor.
  • Food segregation (e.g. uneaten and uneaten food) and supporting storage (e.g. raw and frozen meat on bottom shelf) according to rules/procedures. For consumables, we use first-in, first-out and replenishment methods to facilitate product rotation.
  • You have experience working in a retail store and storefront. Apply to the pharmacy outside the window when applying.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding controlled substances (such as alcohol and tobacco). Responsible for checking participants’ bags before leaving the store.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures. Maintain good relations with employees. Perform specific tasks and other tasks.

Education and personal development

  • Attend the training and complete the PPL requested by your supervisor.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid PTCB credential or pharmacy license as required by the state.

Communication

  • Act as a liaison between managers and non-management employees by delegating tasks to team members when the Store Manager is unavailable.
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

Qualification:

  • One year of leadership, supervisory or retail sales experience. Must be able to read, write and speak English. (except Puerto Rico)
