Assistant Store Manager – Sales

As an Assistant Store Manager – Sales at Scalesforth, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring the overall success of our store. You will work closely with the store manager to oversee daily operations, manage a team of sales associates, and uphold our high standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in achieving sales targets and goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management procedures.
- Help develop and implement strategies to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain store appearance and cleanliness according to company standards.
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of sales associates.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
