The Apple Operations team is looking for an energetic and motivated individual for the position of Data Engineer. The role is an opportunity for a self-starter to use business acumen, acquire process knowledge, and apply analytical skills to deliver integrated, value-added solutions to Apple’s service team. The engineer must be an expert in the use of data analysis, statistical tools and methods to be able to identify system weaknesses, root causes of problems and recommend the best solutions. Knowledge and practical experience of quantitative analysis in the field of supply chain is expected. The ability to use statistical tools and techniques to identify process variances, root causes and drive data-driven decision making is desirable.

The right to head:

More than 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis in the field of supply chain is expected. Computer analysis using Snowflake, mySQL, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Business Objects, JMP, R, Matlab, SPSS and working knowledge of SAP/S4 data systems.
Experience with Snowflake, Teradata and Tableau. Level expertise in SQL and Python required.
Experience in Applied Machine Learning, trans. regression analysis, time series, probability models, Bayesian statistics, etc.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively under challenging circumstances such as changes in direction, deadlines and budgets; organizational skills and the ability to multitask are essential. Commitment to staying current with industry-leading technologies, processes, tools and best practices, including experience with SQL, Teradata, Python and Tableau.
Advanced understanding of data sources and relationships, reporting tools and systems knowledge, including monitoring experience and managing data quality. Ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences and vice versa, and good communication and written and presentation skills using data visualization tools required.
