As a Print Engineer in the Advanced Processes Lab in Production Design, you will lead print color development testing through color coding and color design DOEs in equipment and manufacturing facilities. Working in a Silicon Valley lab, this is a great way to bring our ink into your own lab.
Proven track record in managing a fast-paced environment with the ability to focus complex requests into clear tasks and align with work plans. Opba 5 years of experience and online color letters, preferably in the inks and screen experience.
Cooly Reality of Clever and Life (Cielch) on the device for the size of color and it shines. Ability to visually inspect color matches required.
Move around 5-10% as needed. This is not a remote workplace.
Explanation:
You will be responsible for the delivery of screen prints and glasses. Work with your SME insurance, product development and corporate product designers to define color goals and playtests. Coordinate with on-site vendors to assist, implement test plans and report results for inclusion in other systems. Continue to coordinate with Coatings SME and suppliers for process development testing. While experimenting, operate the equipment yourself in all aspects of mixing ink, working screen, oven and drying.
Receives and reviews submissions for color development; checks CCD readiness, adjusts screen printing process controls for ink quality and print quality; preparing materials for printing, maintenance; measure the ink thickness, calibrates drying oven. Tests samples for ink thickness, helps with color measurement and checks overall quality. Monitors shelf life of inks and additives, viscosity, filtration and performance of ink mixing equipment to ensure quality standards are met. Completing test and term papers and presenting materials.
Availability of laboratory space, ordering of all materials, equipment and plans for use.
