You will help design and implement our machine learning strategy into the critical iPhone supply chain and help build the future of manufacturing systems in the smart industry. We will collaborate and work with teams that work together and apply algorithms to big data.
The right to head
Strong programming skills in Python
3 years of hands-on experience using ML to solve real-world problems, with a deep understanding of ML algorithms and deep learning. Experience with programming or adaptive neural networks is an asset.
Good communicator with experience communicating complex ML results to non-technical engineers. Experience managing and driving a cross-functional team.
Hardworking and passionate about solving real problems. Experience working with large scale and real world datasets.
Experience with machine learning and related data tools and libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, R, Spark, PyTorch, SQL. Engineering background and manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience ML in design and workspace. In particular, working with large and unstructured manufacturing datasets, and applying a ready-to-use model to the manufacturing industry.
Experience in manufacturing and supply chain ML use cases such as test optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement. Experience in computer vision and deep learning in manufacturing.

The Operations Advanced Analytics team is looking for creative and driven people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams. As our member, you will work on applied machine learning algorithms to analyze problems focusing on topics such as classification, regression, clustering, optimization and other related algorithms to influence and improve Apple’s supply chain and manufacturing process. You will work with the team to build end-to-end machine learning systems and modules and integrate models into our company. You will work with a team of software engineers, machine learning engineers, operations and hardware engineers across the company.
Academic Experience
Masters or doctorate. in computer science, statistics, operations analysis, physics, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, or a related field with experience applying machine learning and computational methods to global business problems.
