How can you make an impact on this project?
Global Merchant Services (GMS) is the acquirer, processing and marketing agent for millions of merchants worldwide that accept American Express cards.
The incumbent is part of the Strategy, Planning and Analytics team and will support the US Customer Management team. ad hoc research and policy implementation. The Strategy, Planning and Analytics team also helps the US Client Management (CLM) team to be more efficient by helping them manage their work and identify opportunities for improvement through reporting, analysis and management.

Specific Responsibilities:
Manage the goal setting process for all markets and merchants in the US, working with key stakeholders and US Customer Management and GS&C leaders.
Undertake in-depth analysis of key business performance indicators, highlight trends and identify implications and opportunities for the business
Collaborate with key business partners through GMS MS-U.S. (e.g. Regional General Managers, SVPs/VPs of Client Management, Pricing, Finance) to create a target strategic framework and KPI targets.
Proactively consult with key stakeholders to develop measurement and analytics strategies, methodologies, and applications to assess the effectiveness of new strategies and tactics in addressing key business needs. Coordinate and coordinate with various teams including regional planning and reporting teams, finance, pricing and other GMS teams to ensure consistency.
Supports annual processes such as forecasting, planning, goal setting and benchmarking. Participate in the analysis of current reports, identify opportunities for automation, remove redundancies and fill news gaps.
