What impact will you have in this role?
- This position reports to the Cloud Engineering team. In this Cloud Engineer role, you gain experience building scalable, secure, and available cloud services in a hybrid Platform as a Service (PaaS), while also working with many other open source products. for your needs.
- Your primary role is to develop technology solutions that enhance the American Express Cloud Platform, with a focus on building automation for delivering large-scale cloud services.
- We work with the rest of our API Engineering team, UI Engineering team, Quality team, and Product Management team to build powerful and effective APIs and solutions.
- Research and implement new technologies and libraries that enable the development of lean products. Implementation of API/middleware solutions involving NSQL, platforms and partners
- Follows best practices that lead to code control, including standardization, compliance, integration, testing, and code analysis.
- Enjoy developing software that works with the desire to learn new skills.
At least
- Cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Private Cloud).
- Experience building REST APIs using GoLang and/or Google’s Java. Experience in cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, etc.
