Job description:
The role of the Member Service Specialist (MSP) will be to provide service card holders visiting the American Express Centurion Lounge, located at LaGuardia Airport. MSPs will be the face of American Express to our customers, acting as brand ambassadors. Working as a collaborative team, they will be able to impress our customers and deliver on the brand promise. A successful MSP within Centurion Lounges will be passionate about providing our cardholders with an exceptional service, in a customer focused environment. Our MSPs are highly trained and motivated, providing American Express cardholders with travel, card, concierge and lifestyle services. Acting as consultants, our MSPs will tailor our products and services to help cardholders meet their immediate needs and enhance their relationship with American Express.

MSPs do this by:
Acknowledging and issuing our card to members upon arrival at the reception
Be a service manager and have a customer experience from start to finish
Develop new ways to solve customer problems or concerns to gain brand loyalty; Ultimately turn the customer into a passionate and loyal customer
Use a customer first philosophy to meet customer needs and expectations
Provide concierge advice on lifestyle
Offer travel advice and a little booking help
To meet the needs of our cardholders, we partner with food and beverage partners
The opening hours of the lounge are from 05:00 to 22:00 from Monday to Sunday. Hours are changed based on business needs.
Eligibility:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
At least one year of recent experience serving a customer base
Experience in an airline, hotel or travel agency preferred (travel booking experience a plus)
A passion for fast-paced customer service
Exceptional communication skills, delighting customers in every interaction
The ability to listen to the customer’s needs, in turn provides confident advice, resulting in customer satisfaction with the service they receive.
Must demonstrate the utmost professionalism and maintain a positive attitude in all interactions
The ability to rely on and collaborate with your colleagues is important, as the bathroom is a busy and fast-paced team environment.
The ability to make quick and efficient decisions, when unexpected situations may arise, puts the cardholder experience at the forefront of everything you do.
Must be intelligent and able to use the Internet effectively while assisting in a face-to-face customer environment
Ability to quickly use and switch between multiple technology platforms
Make it in a flexible and flexible environment
Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays is essential
You may need to raise the heat to moderate for some jobs. Pay Range: $20.00 to $33.65 per hour + benefits + benefits
