We are looking upbeat and motivated to join our strong outbound sales team. As a Telesales Consultant, you will build relationships with corporate cardholders and tailor American Express solutions based on their needs.

The main goal of a telesales person is to use in the market to acquire new business customers with an annual company income of $500,000 to $10 million through telephone sales. The ideal candidate will have the ability and energy to call customers and be able to use sales skills to deliver business solutions to our prospects through American Express retail stores.

The Sales Executive must have strong business acumen, a strong leadership presence and an interest in continuous career growth. Telesales agents will have the opportunity to be part of a sales pathway program where they will receive coaching, training, job shadowing and leadership support to gain experience as they progress through their sales careers in America Express.

Functions:

Make outbound calls to business owners with annual revenues between $500,000 and $10 million, using a target list provided by American Express. Engage with business owners and decision makers in phone conversations, learn about their needs and recommend the right American Express business products.
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge, effectively communicate product features and benefits and other aspects of American Express Small Business products. Lead a successful pipeline of potential customers.
Continually seeking to improve sales skills including building relationships, understanding customer needs, managing barriers and closing sales. Follow Blue Box Standards, GCS Selling Practices and Standard Operating Procedures, American Express Guiding Practices.
Winner and for admission into US SMB and GCS.

Eligibility:

Experience driving sales and outsourcing.
Experience in a cold environment is an asset. A regular record of growing and maintaining business relationships.
Experience in a highly regulated industry. Financial and business concepts.
Knowledge of different market cycles and segments. Browse through multiple digital platforms and web applications.
Good listening skills and a consultative approach to communication with clients. Strong telephone skills that can communicate messages to multiple audiences at different levels.
