It starts with using an American Express card with one of our millions of customers worldwide, then processing the transaction and paying that customer to us. The Acquired Rights Product (ACD) team is at the center of the proprietary business process. We support billions of transactions that allow customers to pay and continue to accept American Express cardholders on their cards. We are looking for a talented Program Manager to join the ACD Product Delivery and Integration team to support the delivery of successful business planning, forecasting and verification. PD&I provides support for critical technology and other advanced initiatives that cross multiple service providers and technology delivery services and require end-to-end delivery management. Main functions of the position:
Program Manager, PD&I is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to be the main point of contact within the ACD product team responsible for providing program management for large projects/activities acting as liaison to A center that supports project managers, stakeholders, product teams, and technology.
This role will include:
Inter-project coordination is responsible for evaluating the best way to support the delivery of various strategic initiatives.
Lead teams working on high-level corporate strategy/vision
Manage and achieve results by improving the relationship of development efforts
Coordinate product efforts across teams by creating and defining key priorities
Planning support, prioritization and implementation
Identification and management of risks, issues and background ensures that appropriate mitigation strategies are in place if necessary
Communication between stakeholders, including creating and facilitating meetings and representing multiple product groups as required
Liaise with many different LOB companies at different levels within the organization and successfully conduct a matrix to improve decision making.
