The Enterprise Digital Member Experience (EDME) is responsible for engaging customers through our digital experiences across our mobile apps, web and mobile channels. The group’s mission is to increase digital engagement, customer satisfaction and revenue through a combination of smart features and a superior user experience.

Functions:

Over the past 3 years, we have invested heavily in manufacturing, expanding the size of the team and adding new professional training. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced creative manager who knows how to organize and optimize our design process, service delivery, planning and reporting. Design leadership is about strengthening the organizational structure of the group, managing internal and external tasks, meeting deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with Designers, Designers, UX Writers, Analysts, Product Managers and other roles necessary to facilitate design delivery across multiple areas. Additionally, you will be part of a team that supports the planning, design and delivery of the Amex mobile app, which is available on iOS and Android in 22 markets worldwide and is used by millions of customers every month.

Main functions:

Become a product development leader. Support product roadmap planning by defining project scope, priorities, team competencies, timelines and deliverables. Define strategy, priorities and support coordination between design, product and engineering. Define key deliverables for each release phase and ensure we are following the broad product and roadmap. Report projects at the local level regularly and consistently using Airtable, Confluence, Jira and other productivity tools to keep all teams informed throughout the project lifecycle. Minimize and increase project, area, and resource risks by providing project monitoring and regular updates via Slack, email, automated reporting, in-person meetings, and video calls. Collaborate and communicate effectively with teams (design + web developers, product managers, designers, UX writers, researchers, and engineers) to define design process, design requirements, organize standups, design critiques, workshops and implement design changes; change your communication style according to your audience. Have a political mindset to solve problems, use team design thinking and build consensus among different people. What might a normal week look like?

Liaising with administrative directors and other administrative staff to provide operational support in the mobile sector. Collaborate with designers, UX writers, and analysts to create an effective product design that meets the requirements.

Design, organize and support projects and department registrations and recommend changes or changes necessary to meet requirements and deadlines. Collaborate with other design and operations management teams to improve design knowledge sharing, delivery processes, and team health.

Promote and attend key events such as launch conferences, launches, design critiques, handover presentations and previews. Have a one-on-one coffee conversation with your boss to brainstorm the painstaking work plan, UX writing, product, engineering and research staff.
