This position is a member of the operational staff working within the Integrated Operations Department.
Oversees plant maintenance at multiple stations where maintenance is performed in-house or outsourced to a vendor. Acts as a liaison between the company, vendor and partner in Tech Ops management to ensure construction-related activities are maintained in accordance with company standards and design manuals.

What to do

Assists management in evaluating plant operators and contractors for qualifications, experience levels, equipment, parts support, and overall ability to follow housekeeping department programs and procedures.
Conducts corporate/sector (GSE) consultations, reviews supplier contracts and quotes for accuracy and fair scope of work.
Initiates and manages maintenance orders for time and supplies according to specified procedures
Review vendor invoices for correct labor and material costs
Notifies company management of damage related to equipment contamination and repair costs in case of an accident
Assists local station management, staff and dealers with marketing and technical expertise to expedite repairs.
Works with station staff and vendors on product promotion and equipment upgrades. Provide suppliers with guidelines to improve efficiency and improve profitability
Conducts company, station and vendor audits to ensure compliance with all company management policies, procedures and standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Travel may be requested
Must pass background check and criminal fingerprint check
Must pass background for AIDS badge, if applicable

Minimum Qualifications – Education and previous work experience

High school diploma or GED equivalent
1 year of production leadership experience in a heavy handling/store related department
Experience supervising/leading a representative project team

Candidate Qualifications – Education and Previous Work Experience

Strong working knowledge of general procedure manuals and safety policy procedures
Knowledge of airport infrastructure maintenance and general maintenance
Knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical engineering
Knowledge of user complaints and user usage
The power of social interaction with computers

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Electrical or HVAC certification
Ability to manage multiple work areas
Excellent analytical, organizational and organizational skills
Ability to assign tasks to selected users
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Comprehension of aircraft/technical operations
Ability to multitask
Ability to change directions when needed
