This service is available within American Airlines Credit Union. The role is for the management and development of the credit union’s fraud risk analysis, fraud risk data and systems used to store and analyze the group’s transactions and performance data related to loss reduction.

What to do:

Lead fraud risk data analysts and loss mitigation organizations in the collection, validation, development and reporting of fraud-related data.
Create team standards, data extraction, analysis, reports and more. and related policies and procedures
Provide training to loss reduction teams to increase employee awareness and implementation
Work with other business units to support embedded data and fraud risk data, reports, etc. Prepare ad hoc reports to support projects, meetings, process changes, etc.
Build management dashboards to display data analysis and trends
Review, maintain and resolve problem management dashboards and other reports on processes, issues and defects
Drive change by streamlining processes, reducing duplication, optimizing automation and search relationships
Attend meetings and work with managers and employees of business units across credit unions to input information and data for decision making.
Act as a lead in loss reduction and coordination activities with business technology, data analytics and other business teams.
Perform other duties as assigned
The nominee will be responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of all accounts and related information as part of their duties and ensuring that their duties comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank’s Privacy Policy. . Minimum Qualifications – Education and previous work experience

High school diploma or GED required
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
Experience analyzing data, working in an environment with multiple systems and sources of information, and generating ideas

Candidate Qualifications – Education and Previous Work Experience

Successful previous management/leadership experience
Training or experience in accounting, bookkeeping and G/L reconciliation
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping and VISA DPS software, its applications and reports
Experience developing SQL scripts, preferably in an MS SQL Server environment
Experience with single credit software such as Episys, Synapsys, Q2 system development and implementation

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (eg Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through experience working with the software or education and working with the software.
Knowledge of current credit bureau products, systems and databases
Ability to demonstrate above average organizational, verbal and written skills
Ability to establish and maintain good business relationships and promote teamwork
Ability to promote the value of change and involve others in problem solving and process planning
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Ability to pass pre-employment compliance checks from American Airlines and Credit Union
