This publication is a member of the Flagship Financial Group (FFG) within American Airlines Credit Union. The role is to provide financial planning, financial advice and financial management to meet the needs of credit union members. A financial advisor reviews the member’s investment portfolio, financial goals, and advises the member on how to best achieve those goals.

What to do:

Working as a member of the Credit Union and Flagship Financial Group (FFG)
Analyze and analyze the financial situation of the group to give advice to achieve the objectives, taking into account the regular experience, risk tolerance, age and tax.
Respond to all referrals from other credit union members to determine if there is a free deposit investment product that can help members reach their goals
Meet with all clients at least once a year to determine if objectives/conditions have changed and recommend changes for their retention accordingly; Provide members with a customized financial plan to help them achieve and track progress toward their financial goals
Collaborate with the Credit Union department to create a team environment and meet the needs of each member, including referring members to other areas as appropriate. Give feedback referring to individuals in the category and context of the recommendation.
Contact existing and potential customers from time to time to let them know their business is important to the Caisse Populaire
Holding seminars to teach our members important financial topics including resource allocation, planning and related concepts.
Keep abreast of new strategic tools, products and resources, process development and professional standards
Maintain all necessary licenses and registrations as required, including completing all mandatory training and company continuing education in a timely manner.
Complete all paperwork accurately and on time
Schedule the time so that the member feels that the counselor is focused on him and his needs
Always demonstrates respect and superior service to build team relationships
Exceed team expectations for accuracy, efficiency, courtesy and professionalism
Perform other duties as assigned
The nominee will be responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of all accounts and related information as part of their duties and ensuring that their duties comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank’s Privacy Policy. . Minimum Qualifications – Education and previous work experience

Bachelor’s degree or university program certificate; or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience
FINRA S7 and S66 (or S63 and S65), appropriate National Insurance Certificate and blank U-4 report.
Previous experience and success in a similar position

Candidate Qualifications – Education and Previous Work Experience

CFP or other advanced designation
Bilingual (spoken and read) in Spanish

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (eg Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through experience working with the software or through training and hands-on use of the software.
Knowledge of financial and stock markets
Effective in different types of presentations: individual, small and large groups, and those with different levels of composition in one credit.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to make good decisions, take initiative and take initiative when required and meet deadlines
Ability to demonstrate high interpersonal skills, including the ability to demonstrate high levels of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, ownership, team focus and professionalism.
Ability to meet qualifications for full listing with FINRA broker
Ability to travel at night
Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
Ability to pass pre-employment compliance checks from American Airlines and Credit Union
