This position is a member of the technical staff within the Integrated Services Division.
It is his responsibility to ensure that the purchasing team has the equipment, supplies, etc. necessary to perform the required function. what to do
Performs system updates (SEPTRE, SAP, SABER/DECS and AAPICS) for supplier processing and part number add/change requests, ensuring that information is accurate and complete; including finding a supplier and adding the required information
Supports procurement efforts for equipment maintenance and hardware purchases; including support for the “Innovation Request” process.
Issue, edit and process purchase orders (PO), repair orders (RO), 3011 forms and supplier invoices (including SPEC2000 level)
Creates and maintains system information records (SAP, SABER/DECS and AAPICS)
Updating records M50, MYI, etc. (SABER/DECS and AAPICS) for industry part numbers related to all studies (including cost and lead time data)
Coordinates Special Action Documents (SADs) for receiving and inspection processes, works with retail stores to verify receipt of parts and resolve backlogs.
Organizes the Engineering Specification Record (ESO).
Creates non-inventory purchase orders (AAPICS and SAP) which may include the purchase of spare engines, quick engine spare parts (QEC) and other miscellaneous services.
Process Receipt Activity Reporting (NORAR), PO/RO Cancellations, Suffix Updates, Return Authorization Forms (RMA), and Part Number Changes/Spaces.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to resolve outstanding invoices or other document discrepancies
Maintains the following screens/words in DECS: AAPREP, AAPWAR, AAPCON and MYA
Provides support and back-up support for group purchases
