Our Engineering Specialists I (EOT) help them stay that way by working with the brightest people around the world to test and implement the latest technologies and work practices to meet changing customer needs.
EOTs are Amazon’s first responders for troubleshooting and servicing electrical and mechanical appliances. This equipment includes but is not limited to standby diesel generators, switches, inverters, PDUs, AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, chemical treatment systems, pumps, motors, VFDs and home automation systems.

Main functions:
Take care of driving a new car while reducing labor and equipment costs.
Lead projects of moderate complexity. Assist in troubleshooting and leveling activities within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Perform rack installation, rack removal, service reading and installation management. Provide performance indicators to senior engineers.
Responsible for on-site management of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with local regulations, procedures and laws. Building and overseeing the maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety in the data center.
Make sure all safety procedures are followed while working. Complete key support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management, process writing, and building management systems.
The process changes according to the different needs of the site. Changes can last up to 12 hours and can be reversed in a predefined order. Some locations have on-call conversions. Manage critical data center infrastructure with 99.999% availability of the world’s largest cloud portfolio.
The service can support multiple locations/sites. Walking through the construction site is difficult. Keep balance and do housework on the ladder

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma
1+ years of electrical and/or mechanical experience or 1+ years of experience in a data center or critical information facility (example: hospital, military installation, public security installation, etc.)
1+ year experience in MS Office suite
