Specialty Fulfillment is the global service provider for Sub-One Day Delivery (SSD), Amazon Today, Urban Expansion and many other businesses. We’re at the forefront of innovation and light-speed execution and delivery, and we’re building a huge following. You will work as a member of the Supply Chain and Topology team supporting faster than one-day deliveries across North America. Our team has the topology and coverage of our last mile fulfillment network, both for dedicated fulfillment centers and third-party outlets. We also develop long-term plans for expansion plans and new delivery models. A supply chain manager must manage misunderstandings, generate insights, and apply strong problem-solving skills to make critical business decisions. This role requires the ability to create sustainable solutions and to collaborate and influence stakeholder groups including marketing, finance, technology and operations. The Supply Chain Manager will have the appropriate executive presence to strategize for fast delivery products and present the business case to senior management.
Main functions:
Build transmission and topology models that can solve complex, interconnected problems, addressing issues such as customer coverage, energy efficiency, speed and transportation costs.
Promotes innovation by simplifying business models and processes
Work through ambiguity, create business plans and logical ideas, and support and modify ideas along the project road.
Manage large data sources and deep data to make critical business decisions
Collaborate with other teams to drive delivery plans and topology plans to completion
Manage the execution of projects, assess risks and propose alternatives if necessary
Collaborate with field partners and other execution teams to continuously improve delivery quality and customer experience
Willingness to lend a hand and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner perspective
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, computer science, mathematics, supply chain or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, large team management, costing and process improvement
Advanced level in Microsoft Excel
Experience with analytical tools such as SQL or Tableau
Experience in data mining and data analysis
