Full Job Description:

The Amazon Energy Procurement Operations (EPO) office is designed to manage Amazon’s energy supply contracts after completion, provide management and control of energy expenditures, monitor environmental performance, and ensure that our portfolio meets internal standards, operations and policies. The group is responsible for managing the operations of the largest portfolio of renewable PPA companies in the world. We are looking for a manager to join our team and manage our energy compliance, risk management and overall management programs for our global energy business. This role will include collaborating with business partners in the successful execution of our programs as well as overseeing internal and external reporting. The ideal candidate is someone with experience who has the organizational skills to plan, initiate and take action in response to identified problems. A qualified individual can handle multiple projects simultaneously while navigating competing priorities, excels in organization, and has experience in designing and executing programs involving large numbers of employees. working.

Main functions:

• Manage and oversee the implementation of energy-related compliance programs, globally, in collaboration with energy, sustainability and data centers.
• Designing and implementing measures to ensure business continuity in energy markets. • Lead our due diligence, planning and preparation for entering the new energy market, including building compliance, qualifying and documenting environmental quality, data entry for the market.
• Create, implement and monitor security operations for energy projects as part of our risk management program.
• Independent reporting on environmental characteristics, their tracking and reporting across the global portfolio in collaboration with peer groups. • establish and report program goals and performance indicators.
