Full Job Description:

The Design Research Engineer will be a member of the Avionics team, focusing on the design verification of various electrical functions of advanced communication systems.
They will focus on design verification of the PCB assembly and take the initiative from the analysis of the subsystem in the first building, from the functional analysis and the system performance verification. They will conduct various tasks such as level design and testing for newly designed PCBA.
They will write and execute design verification plans for power and integrity verification for standard and custom communication between integrated circuits and printed circuit boards. They will ensure appropriate data collection and analysis and demonstrate compliance with system requirements.
They will be part of a multidisciplinary avionics design team and will work closely with PCBA engineers, engineers, FPGA and embedded software developers as well as systems and implementation engineers. Main functions

We are looking for an exceptional engineer who combines strong technical and analytical skills with a proven ability to get things right quickly and efficiently. You will own and manage a comprehensive test system and plan board level tests. You need to collect test data, perform data analysis, and record the results. In this role, you will conduct test readiness assessments and coordinate with various stakeholders in the data analysis project.

Expect to work with senior engineers and influence the overall research strategy by helping to define process research requirements.
You will feel comfortable with a lot of freedom and like the idea of ​​solving problems that have not been solved on a large scale before.

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in board-level regulatory approval for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products; OR 3+ years of test suite experience in complex test systems, including test software implementation
• 3+ years of experience developing requirements, strategies and processes for product development approval. • 3+ years experience using standard electronic laboratory test equipment (ie oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
