Full Job Description:

Ground crews are responsible for managing customer cargo, including boarding and unloading aircraft, marshalling and pushing aircraft, ground equipment operations (GSE), arrivals desk, l flight assistance and customer support. If you have special needs, assist staff as needed and perform other duties.

Work

• Load and unload baggage and code-share items of various weights and sizes to and from the aircraft and to the appropriate airport baggage area.
• Use grounding equipment.

• Aircraft lavatory service.
• Responsible for aircraft safety inspections and hospital safety inspections as required.
• Ensure that ramp areas are safe and free of foreign debris (FOD) and that all ground materials are properly maintained.
• Follow safety rules, including using proper grounding equipment and wearing proper safety gear.
• Operate heavy machinery/equipment such as, but not limited to, boats, tractors, forklifts, forklifts, backhoes, ice machines, etc.
• Ability to communicate using two-way radio.
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Clean the interior of the aircraft as needed.
• Stock the aircraft and cart with essential items (such as in-flight magazines and toiletries) as needed.
