Summary of the role
The mission of a customer service representative is to create an aircraft that people love. This is achieved by taking care of our customers and providing them with the best experience while meeting their travel needs. As a member of the Alaska Airlines Customer Service team, you will answer customer questions and perform various duties in the lobby, gate and baggage handling areas. It is the responsibility of the individual participants and it is the work represented by the organizations.
Business matters
Greet and support customers with travel needs (such as answering questions, checking in, boarding flights) in a fast-paced environment. iPad, computer and documents.
Perform boarding and gate operations (eg pilot connecting flights and cargo, announcing gates, assigning seats, re-booking passengers, assisting disabled passengers including pushing chair). Encourage and reduce customer stress to provide a positive travel experience.
Assist customers with lost or damaged bags (eg, request a bag, provide repair or replacement options, help locate lost bags). As directed by management, you may be assigned to various duties to ensure customer satisfaction.
More details
You must have a valid advanced ID/driver’s license (REAL ID) or passport, or be able to provide the documents required to obtain a Port of Seattle AIDS card when hired. Flight/Hotel/Travel Accommodation and relocation assistant not provided.
