Summary of duties:

Chartered attorney with a strong background in corporate and commercial law, provides excellent legal advice and counsel, negotiates complex contracts, has the ability and desire to learn multiple practice areas, and represents the Southwest effectively in front of outside vendors, lawyers and others. May perform other duties as assigned by senior staff. Lawyer – Corporate & Business Represents the company as a whole through its relationship with (i) various departments and their leaders within the company and (ii) other non-company members and -does or may conduct business, each under the limited supervision of the general partner. a lawyer or other experienced lawyer; and more precisely:

Act as a legal contact for Supply Chain Management, Technology and other company departments in the negotiation, drafting and analysis of key and/or business and non-standard technology, including license agreements, maintenance agreements, service agreements professional, cloud service agreement, outsourcing agreement, software as a service agreement, hardware purchase agreement, e-commerce agreement, hosting and development agreement of website and mobile phone, research agreement, non-disclosure agreement and communication agreement.

Review and interpret existing company contracts to provide advice and guidance. Collaborate with colleagues in the legal department on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, with an emphasis on privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, patents and domain names. Manage tips and budgets effectively.

Ability to effectively prioritize and manage collaborative projects and competing business needs. Performs other duties requiring legal research and analysis and/or negotiations, as requested by general counsel, general counsel, or other attorneys.
