Main Duties:
- Troubleshooting, repair and full protection of underground equipment (used and unused)
- Duties include diagnosing and repairing engine oil, transmission, suspension and brake systems.
- Troubleshooting and repair of heavy equipment including diesel engines, large aircraft air conditioners, air starters and ground generators
- Underground equipment is represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT).
- Times are guessed and assigned based on seniority.
- Salary increases are currently governed by the IBT/United agreement.
- New employees must join the union within 90 days of being hired.
- There is a club entrance fee and a monthly club membership fee set by the local hotel.
