As a member of the store management team, the Operations Manager builds customer loyalty for CVS/Pharmacy by focusing on the best customer experience, while driving store operations and working to achieve the mission of the business of helping people achieve better health. . As Store Manager, the Operations Manager maintains an efficient and effective store through strong leadership, showing initiative and leading by example. The Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all administrative and operational aspects of CVS/Pharmacy.

Including:

  • Market-wide policy management, oversight and management
  • Sales and inventory management
  • Recruitment, training and development
  • Financial direction
  • Customer behavior

Unlike the Store Manager in Education program, the Operations Manager is not part of the CVS/Pharmacy Retail Management Development Program. The Operations Manager cannot be promoted directly to the Store Manager. Applicants with the short-term goal of becoming a CVS Manager should enroll in the Store Manager course.
