Full Job Description
As a Billing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a number of tasks within our team, including but not limited to the following:
• Correspondence – which is received by USPS, Document Imaging, Fax and/or Email and is identified by searching our property and delivered to the appropriate department within the expected time frame.
• Review and post corrections – Check the change mailbox, review the change form to ensure it was completed correctly, submit it for approval, and post the change to the appropriate account, if applicable. • Validation of insurance documents – Review the information received on the patient’s intake form and update its operating system.
• Refunds – Review patient accounts to determine if credit is valid and make appropriate adjustments, review refund checks and find correct mailing addresses, review mail received from USPS, and respond and/or act on requests for decisions . • IVRN/IV Pump – Monitors, evaluates and enters appropriate accounts related to IV nursing, education and IV pumps. Review invoices and/or invoices submitted at the request of the company, Accounts Payable or management. • Price Review – Enter credits and/or charges for a specific period of time for a full price review of account management, service, billing, legal, collections, and other requests.
• Consulting – Review, capture, analyze, and correct consulting costs and operating systems. Liaise with legal, clinical, billing, management, colleagues and management to investigate and resolve queries.
In addition, you may be responsible for collaborating and working with other departments and projects and/or participating in various projects and/or organizations as designated by management. Ensure appropriate and professional communication with internal and external colleagues and our customers regarding inquiries and resolve issues

This is a work-from-home position with fixed hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but hours may vary based on location and business needs. Long hours, holidays and weekend hours may be required and/or expected
Eligibility Of Candidates:
0-1 years of work experience, including planning, marketing, or customer service
1-3 years in a clerical, data entry, administrative or other office role strongly preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume and dynamic environment
Knowledge of healthcare industry helpful 1-3 years of previous industry management experience
Effective multitasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and fast-paced environment
Effective oral and written communication and listening skills
Intermediate and strong computer and technical skills
Education
