We are looking for a dynamic and motivated colleague to join our external sales team. The Telesales Consultant builds relationships with business cardholders and recommends American Express solutions as needed.
The main objective of a telesales consultant is to acquire new clients with companies having annual revenues of $500,000 to $10 million through telesales through the sale of internal goods. The ideal candidate must have the courage and tenacity to contact customers using their business communication skills to propose business solutions through the American Express Business Suite.
Sales consultants must have an eye for the business, strong management skills, and the will to keep working. Telemarketers have the opportunity to be part of a sales program where they receive training, coaching, career development and leadership support to gain experience while seeking sales employment with American Express.
Role:
- Outbound calls are made to business owners with annual revenues between $500,000 and $10 million using domain names provided by American Express.
- Engage in phone conversations with business owners and decision makers, learn about their needs and recommend American Express products.
- Maintain a high level of product and service awareness and clearly communicate appropriate products and benefits and other American Express Small Business products.
- Successfully led the pipeline vision.
- Continue to improve your basic sales skills, including building relationships, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales. Adherence to Blue Box Values, GCS Sales Policy and Code of Conduct, and American Express Officer Conduct.
- Compliance Champion with US SMB and GCS.
