Functions:
As an engineer at GMST, you will develop the core features and functions of the card transaction and distribution platform deployed in the cloud. Participate actively in an agile team on the latest development practices, write code and unit tests, work with API definitions and automation. GMST engineers use Java technology to innovate while finding opportunities to leverage new technologies.
Eligibility –
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. At least 3 years of software development experience in a professional environment working with Java technologies – Vertx, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful micro services, Ignite, In-Memory Computing, Spark, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Kafka, Yellowbrick (Apache Ignite is a plus ) and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience in application design, software development and automated testing
Experience with distributed systems (multilevel), algorithms, relational or NoSQL databases. Ability to clearly articulate technical and business goals and challenges with effective solutions.
The ability to learn and discover new technology in the business sector, challenge the situation and think outside the box. Ability to debug component components and identify code defects to fix.
Experience working with Agile or other rapid development methods. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
