Description:
The Cyber Threat Intelligence Team Protects The American Express Brand, Global Business Operations, Technology Infrastructure And Customer Trust From Cyber Threats Around The World. The CTI Team Collects, Analyzes And Disseminates Knowledge About Adversaries And Their Motivations, Intentions And Methods To Help American Express Protect Critical Business Assets And Customers At All Levels.
The CTI Senior Engineer Performs The Technical Integration And Orchestration Of Multiple Intelligence Sources Across All Sources To Support CTI’s Threat Collection, Analysis And Dissemination. The CTI Senior Engineer Is Responsible For Developing, Identifying, And Exploring New Ways To Interact With Data And Visualization To Provide Near-Real-Time Situational Awareness And Protect American Express From Emerging Threats. Critical Skills Include Developing Relationships With Key Partners, Working With Partners To Improve Existing Capabilities, And Supporting Collection Management In Support Of CTI Priority Intelligence Requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate Data Into A Centralized Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP).
- Update And Maintain CTI Infrastructure. Integrate TIP Data Into Other Relevant Trading Platforms.
- Develop Technical Solutions To Support Collection Priorities. Provide Expertise In Cyber Threat Correlation Analysis.
- Identify New Information And Resources Related To Current/Emerging Threats. Develop Visualization Of Threat Information Including Threat Metrics And Trend Panels.
Qualifications:
Knowledge Of Common Security Controls, Detection Capabilities, And Security Of Digital Environments, Including TCP And UDP Packet Flows/Traffic, Firewall And Proxy Technologies, Antivirus, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Host-Based Monitoring, Email Monitoring, Spam Technologies, And SIEM.
- Knowledge Of Tactical And Strategic Artifact Types (E.G. IOC) And Threat Frameworks, Including Cyber A, The Diamond Model, Cyber A Advanced Knowledge Of Security Principles, Issues, Techniques And Implementations Of Threat Intelligence Platforms.
- Proactively Identify And Solve Complex Problems. Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills.
- Effective Communication Of Technical Concepts With A Non-Technical Audience.
