You’ll be joining an experienced team that includes founders who have successfully built and sold startups before. Our founders and employees also have direct experience building and scaling teams through massive growth at companies like Dropbox, Clever, and New Relic.

As the founding HR Business Partner at Metronome, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our leadership and management teams to influence HR programs and initiatives from day 1.

In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to provide hands-on strategic input and advice around organizational strategy and development, performance management, coaching and development, compensation, employee relations, training, and more. We are looking for a strategic and empathetic partner who can work autonomously and balance competing short-term priorities with long-term strategic initiatives.

What you will work on:

? As the first HRBP hire, you will help set the direction of People efforts at Metronome
Strategic HR Leadership:
? Partner with various business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring a strong focus on talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement
Business Partnership:

? Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, offering insights and guidance on HR matters to support decision-making and people matters
? Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges, proactively identifying opportunities to optimize organizational effectiveness and drive performance
Talent Management and Development:

? Be a driver of various HR initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
? Influence organizational design, Identify organizational gaps, and deploy impactful people strategies that enable the teams to perform effectively, and scale efficiently

Employee Engagement and Culture:
? Identify and drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment aligned with the company’s core values and culture.

Requirements

? Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects; demonstrates initiative and manages multiple, competing priorities
? Expertise in navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy
? HR experience in a tech start-up or high-growth company is a must
? Experience influencing and advising executive leadership on talent and employment matters
? Experience with core HR domains, including performance management, organizational design, talent management, compensation, and employee relations

? 7+ years of experience as an HRBP, preferably at a Series A or Series B tech startup
? Experience providing HR business partnerships to technical teams both technical and go-to-market teams
? Proven ability to drive change management in a rapidly scaling environment
? Experience identifying, designing, and deploying HR interventions within the business
? Superb executive communication skills, including effective facilitation, listening and writing capabilities.
